I think if you’re in a hot country and packing for.. say.. winter in Australia, it’s probably a good idea to do it with the AC on full blast. Cos packing when you’re warm is not the one, you’ll end up chucking t shirts and light trousers in that bag instead of sweaters and thermals.

You is like those firey rays that suddenly burn through the sky with glorious intensity as the sun sinks beneath the sea’s horizon. Except the rays are your eyes, the sky my insides, and the horizon our goodbye.

This past month has been crazy busy and I never realised until asked what I’ve been doing while my parents have been in Australia. It has been a time of learning Alhamdulillah, and lots of work, each job being different to the last; from concept lighting to opening ceremonies, with portraits, product and performance in between. On top of that I’ve been helping my brother with material for a couple projects and a website, and managed to fit in a london trip.

I mean, this is not normal. Then again, neither is life. It’s amazing and I’m so grateful for every little bit. I just hope that I’m able to get through my to-do list before flying to Melbourne next week Inshallah. Alhamdulillah wa Shukru Lillah.
